As part of the Store's green efforts, our Store Lead, Ashley, has spearheaded the waste management program. We often come in possession of material that cannot be recycled or reused, which leads to a costly effort to correctly dispose. Ashley contacted the Pollution Prevention Assistant where she spoke with Sydney Wigle to create a partnership to help guide us in the right direction. As part of the Store being a zero-waste generator because the waste is not produced by the Store, we are able to connect with our local community to lean on resources for proper removal. Together, Ashley and Sydney were able to find a quick solution to properly dispose material to create a safer environment for staff! We are incredibly proud of Ashley's leadership in these green efforts to not only make it a safer environment for our staff and customers, but also the positive environmental impact.
